Migrant Worker under State Humanitarian Protection
Intended for migrants who are under the protection of the Panamanian State for humanitarian reasons and require a formal work permit to engage in employment activities in the country.
Required Documents
- Document of Affiliation obtained after completing the National Registry of Migrant Labor.
- Notarized power of attorney granted to an authorized attorney to represent the applicant in the procedure.
- Work permit application specifying the type of permit and the social/labor grounds, submitted by an attorney.
- Certificate issued by the National Migration Service stating the applicant’s immigration status, with B/. 8.00 in fiscal stamps.
- Legible copy of the valid passport, including the general information page, or online validation through RUEX.
- Copy of the processing card, provisional or permanent residence card issued by the National Migration Service or the Electoral Tribunal.
Additional Requirements for Extension
- Certified copy of the National Migration Service Resolution granting the temporary permit for humanitarian reasons.
- Applicant’s immigration movement record.
