Foreign personnel hired by a private company — 10% of the regular workforce
Allows foreign workers hired within the 10% quota of a private company’s regular workforce to obtain their permanent residence permit in the Republic of Panama.
Required Documents
- Notarized power of attorney granted.
- Complete copy of the passport, authenticated by a notary.
- Three (3) passport-size photographs.
- Medical certificate of good health.
- Criminal record certificate.
- Employment contract duly endorsed by the Ministry of Labor and Labor Development (MITRADEL).
- Sworn statement of personal background.
- Letter of Responsibility duly authenticated by a notary.
- Valid certificate from the Public Registry of the hiring company.
- Copy of the company’s Notice of Operations, duly certified as a true copy.
- Valid Social Security record.
- Tax Clearance Certificate from the DGI for the hiring company.
